Sam Filstrup
Hello! My name is Sam Filstrup, prolific illustrator, animator, teacher, and occasional D&D Paladin originally from the San Francisco Bay Area now located in sunny Los Angeles County. In 2011, I graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a Bachelor's Degree in Animation and Visual Effects. Since graduating I've worked for various clients around the world illustrating their visions through my artistic shenanigans. Notable projects include Sly Cooper IV: Thieves in Time (PS4), EE: Phonesmart, and Escape Academy (PS/XBOX/STEAM).
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to new locations both local and far in order to fill out my sketchbooks with new inspirations to further elevate my art.
